Bindi

How we got her: Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association was in need of a foster home that could whelp a litter. I liked the look of her photo and I said I would help. She was in a shelter in Kentucky and the rescue had her transported to NH, and I went and picked her up at another foster home. One look and I knew she had just come off puppies and was not pregnant. We waited and when she did not have puppies I had her spayed. She is obsessed with me and I could not find her a new home, so I adopted her.

How she got her name: Her named was Daisy, but we have a rabbit with that name. We wanted an Australian name for her. So we named her Bindi after the crocodile hunters daughter.

Some more about her: She is not like most Cattle Dogs. Bindi is a calm dog who has zero herding instinct. Scott was really bummed that she does not have any desire to fetch or play with toys, but she is who she is. Bindi is great off leash and enjoys hiking or being anyplace I am. She gets along with all animals.

Her best friend: She loves everyone.

Her favorite thing: ME!
