Barking Brooks Black Dahlia Of Kiana How we got her: We got Dahlia from our friend Whatleigh's Barking Brook Kennel. It was a repeat breeding and I really liked the dogs they produced in the first litter. How she got her name: Scott's great-grandfather specialized in dahlias. We named her Dahlia in honor of him. Her registered name "Black Dahlia" was the nickname of a beautiful woman who was murdered in 1947. Training and showing: Scott will start training Dahlia in the spring. Career in harness: Dahlia is a puppy and will start her career for the 2008/09 season. Some more about her: Dahlia is a vocal girl who loves people. Like most females in the kennel she is Scott's dog. I'm looking forward to her future. Her best friend: Her best friend is Weather. Her favorite thing: Dahlia loves to eat things, it does not matter what it is, if it fits in her mouth she will eat it. If it does not fit in her mouth she will chew it until it does.
