Kelim's Eleanor of Kiana How we got her: Ellie was born at Kelim Siberians. I have liked her mom, Roulette, since birth. Roulette's sire is a nice dog from Northome lines. Then you cannot go wrong with Ellie's sire. It seemed like a good match for what I need. How she got her name: They named her Ellie after a character in a show called Black Sails. Knowing nothing about the show I could not come up with a fancy registered name. Training and showing: I'm pretty sure Scott will train her. Career in harness: Ellie is a spitfire in harness. She trained up in lead and even raced in lead a few times. We expect that next year will be great for her. Poor Ellie missed her Sled Dog title by 3 miles. So she should finished that right up next season. Some more about her: Ellie is VERY in your face loving dog. I cannot even get pictures of her because she is always stuck to my side. The poor dog is as dumb as a brick though. When she was young all of the other dogs used to just look at her and shake their heads. Not one dog would interact with her. Now that she is a little older everyone has come to understand that even though she is not playing with a full deck she can be fun to play with...sometimes. I do still catch the dogs looking at her with a "you poor thing" face from time to time. It is our experience that the best leaders are always either very smart or very dumb. So there is hope for her in that way. Her best friends: Allis is her best bud. Her favorite thing: Chewing on anything and everything. Eyes: cleared
