AM/CAN CH Kiana's Burning Fire TT, SD, CGC How we got him: Ember was born in our kennel. His sire is our Orion and his dam is our Coyuk, Ember came from a litter of 9 puppies. How he got his name: We went with a fire theme. We liked the name Ember for a red puppy. His registered name became "Burning Fire" to go with his call name. Training and showing: I show Ember in the breed ring. Some days he shows well and wins easily, other days he does not show well and it is embarrassing. I never know what mood he will be in until I'm in the ring. I find myself either happy because he won or embarrassed because he made me look like an idiot. I showed Ember to his American & Canadian Championship. Ember has started working in obedience. Ember has his Temperament Test & Canine Good Citizen titles. Career in harness: Ember is one of my leaders. He is very reliable, and good with his commands. I enjoy running him. Ember has his Sled Dog title, and he has a couple of legs towards his Sled Dog Excellent title. Ember had some shoulder trouble during the 2008 season, so he only ran 3 races. Some more about Ember: Ember is a fun loving dog with tons of personality. He gets along with everybody, dogs and people. He is very gentle with other dogs, and is good around puppies. Ember also loves cats. When he comes into the house Keller gets very excited to see him and she rubs up against him. We feel that Ember is a well balanced dog with great movement. Ember is a favorite in our kennel. His best friend: Ben and Ember are best buds. They are extremely bonded and think of each other as brothers. Ember sleeps with his head on Ben's back. Ember cleans Ben's ears every day, Ben has the cleanest ears in the kennel thanks to Ember's cleanliness. His favorite thing: Ember loves to be groomed!
