Alkas'iber's
Etoile At Kiana CGC, TKN, ATT How we got her: Etoile's mom is Shelby who is a Valeska daughter. Shelby lives at Alkas'iber Siberians with George and Ann Cook. Alkas'iber Siberians had not produced a litter of their own in many years. Shelby was bred to their boy Knight and they had a small litter of 2 males and 1 female. At one point I figured they would keep all 3 puppies. Then there was talk about sending Etoile to Italy, which of course made everyone sad because nobody would see her in person again. Then Ann decided we should just take her. How could we say no? Just look at her. How she got her name: Etoile means star. I figured her registered name could just be "Star" at Kiana. Training and showing: Scott took Etoile to an AKC STAR puppy class. Once a little older we both worked her and she got her Canine Good Citizen and Novice Tricks titles. She will have to wait for Rally though. Even though she knows all the exercises, and can heel like a dream, she is stubborn about sitting. The summer of 2021 Etoile earned her AKC temperament title with 2 perfect scores! She has started her show carrier, and is pointed here in the US. Fingers crossed she becomes a champion once she matures. Career in harness: Etoile is not fast enough for our A string team. Some more about her: Etoile is crazy smart and super outgoing. She learns quickly, but is very stubborn. She moves like a dream. Her best friends: Etoile loves Honey and Amp (or maybe just loves to boss them around). Her favorite thing: Playing!
