Kiana's Marlee Of
Denali TKN How we got her: Marlee was born in our kennel. Her sire is Max and her dam is Circle. How she got her name: We had a livestock guardian dog named Marley that Lucas adored. Marley ended up wanting to be a pet, so he left for a good pet home. We told Lucas he could name this puppy, and it could be his dog. Lucas is a huge fan of the cartoon Molly Of Denali, and that is the registered name he picked for her. Training and showing: Lucas completed a Canine Good Citizen class with Marlee the summer of 2020. We did not have him put Marlee through the CGC test because I knew she would fail the down on command and stay in place. She is young and she likes to test young Lucas. Instead I told him we would work on 10 tricks to earn her Novice Trick Dog title. He was so proud to be only 6 years old and finish a title on a dog. Career in harness: She is small, which is great for Lucas, and she will not race. Marlee will work in harness for fun with Lucas. Some more about her: Marlee is a whirlwind of a puppy, she reminds me of Amp at this age. Super smart and learns quick, but is stubborn at her young age (just like Amp). Her best friends: Marlee loves Malik. Her favorite thing: Splashing water. Eyes: not done yet
