Northomes Bobbi How we got her: Bobbi is our newest Northome dog. Kathy & Bill brought her back from Minnesota for us April 2009. How she got her name: Ann said that when she held her as a pup her head would bob around like a bobble head. They shortened it to Bobbi. Training and showing: Bobbi does not have any formal obedience training. She learned her down & wait for food very quickly. I often toy with the idea of training her in obedience. Career in harness: We got Bobbi as a backup leader for Scott's team. The 2009 race season Scott could not race Viktor lead because of a sore muscle. Ann thought Bobbi would be a good match for what we need, and here she is. Last season Bobbi went to Alaska to race on Al's open team. Right now Bobbi is getting used to running for us. Some more about her: Bobbi is a very very smart dog. During the first hour of us getting to know her she showed me that she can problem solve. I love a smart dog!! Bobbi is the loudest dog we own, barking at dinner and hookup, I cannot find any other complaints about her. She is a sweet dog who LOVES attention. Her best friend: Bobbi loves Homer. Her favorite thing: Bobbi loves to dig holes! Eyes: cleared Hips: not done |
