Kiana's Mister Man CGC, TKN How we got him: Malik came from a surprise litter. We were away camping and somehow Carrigan got bred while in the care of kennel help. Since we did not know she was bred (until she showed) we did not know who the dad was. After DNA testing all the pups, Carrigan and 4 possible males we found out that her dad, Virgil, was the sire. How he got his name: While at the 2019 National my boys made friends with a man who worked at the hotel. They called him Mr. Man. At the end of the week Scott asked him his name and he said Malik. So he is named after the cool guy who drives a fork lift in Wilmington, Ohio. Training and showing: Originally Malik was signed up for a puppy class April 2020, that did not happen for obvious reasons. The summer of 2020 Malik was able to do a Canine Good CItizen class. He was such a good boy doing his test! The summer of 2021 Scott put a Novice Trick Dog title on him. Career in harness: Malik has never raced, but he has been in harness for fun. Some more about him: I never imagined keeping a puppy from this litter. Mostly because I was so upset that the breeding had happened. I was upset about the litter for weeks. This little guy was so amazing though. Pretty much everything I had wished for in a dream puppy. Our Mr. Man is so much fun. Wicked smart, crazy loving and VERY eager to please. His best friend: Malik and Marlee are best buds. His favorite thing: Watching whatever I do, he loves to watch and take everything in.
